This policy explains how WASM Weather handles your data when you use this website and our mobile app. By using the service you agree to it.

Data we collect

• Usage data: basic technical information your browser sends automatically (browser type, pages visited, time of visit) to operate and improve the site.
• Location: we do not request your precise location. The area you pick for the forecast is stored only in your browser.
• Cookies: used to remember your preferences (language, theme) and for advertising as described below.

Advertising

We show ads via Google AdSense to keep the service free. Ad providers may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this or other sites.

• When you open the site we ask for your consent: you can choose personalized or basic (non-personalized) ads.
• You can manage Google ad preferences at Google Ads Settings.
• The paid WASM PRO product shows no ads at all.

Third-party providers

Some data may be processed by providers such as Google (advertising) and our content-delivery network (CDN). Each provider is governed by its own privacy policy.

Mobile app (WASM Weather)

The following applies to the WASM mobile app (Android/iOS):

• Approximate location: only with your permission, we use your approximate (city-level) location to show the forecast for the nearest supported area; we do not store your location on our servers.
• Ads (Google AdMob): the free app may show ads via AdMob, which may use your device's Advertising ID to serve and measure ads. We request consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required.
• Crash & diagnostics: we may collect anonymized crash reports to improve app stability.
• The paid WASM PRO product shows no ads at all.

Your controls: opt out of personalized ads or reset/delete the Advertising ID in your device settings, or uninstall the app.

Your choices

• You can change your ad consent at any time by clearing this site's browser data.
• You can disable cookies in your browser settings (this may affect some features).

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the updated date will appear at the top of this page.
